Sahyun James is verkozen om als scheidrechter naar de Wereldkampioenschappen Benidorm 23- 27 october 2013 te gaan. Er waren veel criteria waaraan voldaan moest worden; de laatste Internationale Scheidsrechtercursus hebben gevolgd, up to date zijn via de IIC’s, gescheidsrechterd hebben op de laatste EK en WK. Aan al deze criteria had Sahyun James ruimschoots voldaan ook gezien zijn werk als Umpire commitee van de AETF afgelopen EK in Skovde Zweden. Nederland wordt vertegenwoordig door, Sabum Rory de Vries, Emiel Kloor en natuurlijk Master Coos v de Heuvel die ook zitting heeft in het Tournament Committee van de ITF. Het is de bedoeling dat alle scheidsrechters van het WK een uniform scheidsrechterpak zullen krijgen, de maten moesten wij al doorgegeven. Wij zijn benieuwd naar “de snit”

Welcome to the elite of the umpiring community within the International TaeKwon-Do Federation! We look forward to working together with you, and are excited about the experiences and memories we will share at this event. Through the experiences you will share, the exciting performances you will grade and the difficult decisions you take, the bonds of friendship that have been developed over the years will continue to grow and flourish at this great event. Please be aware that all officials ARE REQUIRED to be in attendance at the Umpire and Officials meeting, to be held on Wednesday October 23rd, 2013, from 08:30hrs to 13:00hrs, at the official Umpire’s Hotel. This meeting is critical to ensure that all officials are receive the official briefing from the Umpire Committee and are aligned with the most current rules and procedures.
We encourage all of our umpires to review the rules, handbooks and notes, and ensure that they have placed as much; if not more effort into perfecting their officiating skills as our athletes have invested into their pursuit of a World Championship. Please be aware that all travel, accommodation, payment, and administrative arrangements must be made directly with the organizing committee, in accordance with their protocols and timelines. Any special needs, arrangements or other details must be personally directed to the appropriate liaison of the organizing committee only.
